Nakiza Designs is the creative business of Naomi Cherelle birthed in 2023 after discovering Surface Pattern Design
The name Nakiza Designs is the combination of the founder and her children Kimori and Zakai names. Wanting to leave a legacy, and naming the business after her biggest cheerleaders and inspiration just felt right.
Nakiza Designs has colour, has meaning, has positivity and joy - much like who it's named after.
The designs can be a mix of:
Culture influences to remember your beginnings, always.
Story telling - the showcasing and intertwining of influences, themes and inspirations; plus both Naomi Cherelle and Kimori engage creative writing
Full of positive energy - because creativity has a way of centering oneself, giving room for self expression, discovery and calm, and feeling closer to the Creator
Full of joy - which the children bring in abundance and is the feeling once seeing an idea come to life which can be shared with the world.
